Biography Of Swami Vivekananda – Swami Vivekananda (born: on January 12, 1863 – Death: on July 7, 1902) was a noted and influential spiritual teacher of Vedanta of india. The childhood name of Swami Vivekananad was Narendra Nath Dutt. He had represented of Sanatan Dharma on behalf of India at the World Religion General Assembly which was held in Chicago in 1893 in the US.
Vedanta of India had been reached every country of America and Europe only because of Swami Vivekananda’s speech. He doggedly had established the Ramakrishna Mission which is still doing its work effectively. He is mainly known for starting his speech with “my dear American brothers and sisters”. This first line of his address had won heart of everyone.

Vishwanath Dutt was a popular lawyer of the Calcutta High Court. He wanted to teach English to his son Narendra and follow the western civilization as well.
His mother Shrimati Bhuvaneshwari Devi was a woman of religious views and housewife. Most of his time was spent in worshiping of Lord Shiva. Narendra’s intellect and mind was very much sharp since childhood and the longing to know and attain God was strong as well. For this, first of all, he went to the ‘Brahmo Samaj’, but his mind was not convinced there. Swami Vivekananad wanted to contribute significantly to make Vedanta and Yoga widespread in Western culture.
After the death of his father, Vishwanath Datt, the burden and responsibility of the house fell on Narendra. The condition of the house was very bad at that time. Even in extreme poverty, Swami Vivekanand was a great guest-servant. Staying hungry, he used to give food to the guest, and other biggest quality was that, he used to stay wet all night in the rain outside, but put Swami Vivekananda had dedicated his whole life to his Gurudev Sriramakrishna.
During the days of Gurudev’s body-sacrifice, he had continued to engage in his Guru-seva, without worrying about the delicate condition of his house and family. He always used to take the bull by the horns. He predicted a new society in which there is no distinction between man and man on the basis of religion or caste. He wanted to implement the principles of Vedanta in this form. It can be called that the basis of the principle of equality which was given by Vivekananda, without getting into the dispute of materialism versus materialism. and it is true, Hardly intellectual basis can be found from him.
Vivekananda had great hopes from the youth at that time. that’s why, For the youth of today, this biographer of this vigorous monk has tried to show or explain in the context of his up to date society and historical background, it has been a real attempt and effort and to give full light of Vivekananda’s social philosophy and his human form as well.

He used to go the extra miles and do mischief with his fellow children, but when he got the opportunity, he did not fail to do mischief with his in the house of Narendra, there was a regular ritual of worship in the house and he used to worship everyday, due to the religious tendency, Goddess Bhuvaneshwari Devi was very fond of hearing the stories of Puran, Ramayana, Mahabharata etc. And Storytellers used to come to their homes to tell stories.
Just because of the influence of the religious and spiritual environment of the family, the importance of religion and spirituality deepened in the mind of the child Narendra. Due to the rites and religious environment of the parents, the child’s desire to know and get God started appearing in the child’s mind. Allegiance to guru
Once someone showed hate and reaction in the service of Gurudev and filled with disgust. Teaching that Guru Bhai a lesson and showing and expressing love towards everything of Gurudev, he used to throw a spit full of blood, phlegm etc. and throw it near his bed at that time. It was just because of the devotion of such respect and devotion to the Guru that he could effectively serve his Guru’s body and his divine ideals as well.
